A former University of Hertfordshire student is returning to the county to research black hole jets and the impact they have on our galaxy.

Dr Beatriz Mingo has received funding to carry out a Fellowship on these phenomena, that were invisible to surveys carried out previously.

She explains what they will be looking for.
