Andy Collins asked Labour Councillor Tom Plater why it鈥檚 worth spending the money. The Roman statue is one of four sculptures being situated across the town. The other three are: The Stag, the symbol of Hertfordshire which is being installed in the north of Monkswood; Flight Trace, which is celebrating the history of aviation and will be placed at the south of Monkswood; and Space Age Musical Pavillion which will be near King George V playing field.
