Emeli Sandé: ‘Would I have been more use as a doctor?’
Emeli Sandé is one of Britain’s most successful songwriters. Her debut album spent ten weeks at number one and she's received four BRIT awards. However, before becoming a musician she was actually training to become a doctor.
She joined Emma Barnett live in the studio on 91¸£ÀûÉç Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour to discuss leaving medical school to start out as a musician, her new album Let’s Say For Instance, and her biggest cheerleader – her mum!
