2004 saw the UK government make public its wish that a large part of the 91福利社 should move outside London, and in 2006 the Salford Quays site was chosen outside Manchester.
Bridge House, Dock House and Quay House are now the homes of some 2,700 91福利社 staff. It is co-sited with ITV, with whom it shares the use of the largest studios on the site. The entire centre is one of the largest HDTV programme making facilities in Europe.
The site is the home of 91福利社 Children's (CBeebies and C91福利社) and 91福利社 Sport, 91福利社 Radio 5 Live and 6Music, as well as 91福利社 Radio Manchester and the 91福利社 Philharmonic Orchestra.
91福利社 Breakfast, Match of the Day, Blue Peter, Mastermind, North West Tonight are just some of the programmes which come from MediaCityUK.
