"I鈥檝e always wanted to go to Kenya. Dad used to live there and he tells me about it all the time. He's really cool. Mum and Dad wanted me to come to Heatherton Grammar so I had to take my 11 plus. I was really nervous but Ba helped me prepare -听and I got in so she must have done ok!
"I'm also into chess club and football. Dad gets excited听when I score a goal! I used to love going to the allotment with him. Roopa thinks I'm mad because I like learning all about different plants and animals and space and stuff, but she's just a girl. She treats me like I'm a baby and so do Jas and Arun - they're always bossing me about. I like being the youngest really though, because everyone does everything for me. They think I don't understand what鈥檚 going on, but I was the first to realise Jas fancied Imran. I know a lot of secrets, and I bet they wouldn't tease me if they knew ..."
It was cool of Vinnie to encourage me to get into my art work, although I鈥檒l never forget the look on his face when he saw what I鈥檇 done to one of the walls in the Sheesha lounge! I鈥檒l improve though. My family need to realise that I'm growing up and I'm practically a man now. I'm definitely more mature than Arun, but that's not hard! I definitely won't be going to him for advice about girls..."
