Souter to Whitburn Coastal Walk
Distance:3.5 miles
Advice:The route follows an established gravel coastal path, on reasonably level ground. A diversion into Whitburn follows a slightly narrower path, alongside fields and the rifle range. This diversion must be used when the range is in use.
Start:The walk starts from Lizard Point, just off the A183 Coast Road near Souter Lighthouse. Nearest Metro station is at Seaburn. The E1 runs regular services along the Coast Road.

Refreshments:Refreshments are available at Souter Lighthouse at the start of the walk and there's an ice cream stall and garage at Whitburn Bents at the end of the route.
