AI and wireless monitoring technology has been used to detect rare birds in Shropshire. As part of the Green Box Project, acoustic sensors were placed in a range of habitats to capture birdsong, and artificial intelligence was then used to identify them. 91¸£ÀûÉç Radio Shropshire’s Adam Green spoke to data scientist Dr Joseph Mhango from Harper Adams University about the project.
