Water levels at Rutland Water reservoir have dropped considerably due to the hot and dry weather. The low water levels have revealed a glimpse of the past - a number of interesting relics from the landscape before the reservoir's creation in 1975. For local people it's provided a rare opportunity to see some hidden treasures of Rutland's history including the ruins of village buildings, and the remains of woodland which is now underwater. 91¸£ÀûÉç Leicester's Ben Jackson went for a look around with Rutland resident Tim Appleton, who was the last resident to live in the Rutland reservoir area before it was covered by water in 1975.
