It's sixty years since the famous Solway Spaceman photo developed a life of its own after Jim Templeton from Carlisle got his snaps back from the film processor. In the photograph a mysterious figure apparently wearing a spacesuit was can be seen above his daughter, but wasn't there when he clicked the shutter on his camera. In a time before digital manipulation is this the real deal or are we choosing to see what we want to see?
