Ruskin’s View: “The loveliest view in England”
Available for over a year
One of Cumbria's most famous viewpoints is Ruskin’s View in Kirkby Lonsdale and it could be open again within months, if it can be proved it’s safe. It was described by the writer, John Ruskin, as "the loveliest view in England" but it’s been closed to the public for two-and-a-half years after cracks appeared in the ground.
