Carlisle United showed their support for autistic fans by showing them there's nothing wrong with wearing ear defenders, while walking onto the pitch before the game. Many people with autism find the sound levels of live sporting events overwhelming. By reducing the roar of spectators with ear protection it enables many to enjoy a day out watching their favourite team.
