Adventure Island boss defends "sexist" Lioness post

The owner of Adventure Island in Southend, Philip Miller MBE, has defended a post on social media which has been criticised by local councillors. Mr Miller posted a photo of a sink piled high with dirty plates and cutlery, along with the caption: "the tragic side affects [sic] of the women's World Cup." Mr Miller posted the image on X - formerly known as Twitter - along with the words, "good luck girls", shortly after the England women's team reached the World Cup final. The Southend businessman has defended his comments, calling his critics "keyboard warriors".
