Could recycled concrete made from rubble help rebuild Syria?

Newshour

Available for over a year

Scientists in Syria, the UK, and Turkey, have demonstrated for the first time that concrete produced using rubble from buildings destroyed in conflict has been shown to be safe. It's a discovery that could change how war zones are rebuilt, and should make that prospect faster, cheaper and greener. Newshour's Celia Hatton asked Dr. Theodore Hanein from the University of Sheffield in the UK, how this concrete is made.
