Iran: ‘The threats I was receiving were very difficult to cope with’
NewshourAvailable for over a year
How do you report on a major international story in a country from which you are banned - and while enduring significant pressure on you and your family? This is the reality for journalists working in the 91¸£ÀûÉç News Persian team in London. The 91¸£ÀûÉç is banned from Iran, but staff at 91¸£ÀûÉç Persian have been reporting on the recent anti-government protests despite daily harassment and persecution of their families back home. Razia Iqbal has been speaking to three 91¸£ÀûÉç Persian colleagues: Rana Rahimpour, Farnaz Ghazizadeh, and Jiyar Gol. What have the past few months been like for them?
