A retired Derbyshire firefighter is returning to the Falkland Islands, where he served in the Armed Forces 40 years ago. Gary Platts was a Royal Engineer who served with a Marine Commando unit during the conflict. He’s been telling 91 Radio Derby’s Andy Twigge about his decision to return.
