A Belper woman took home a silver medal after taking part in the World Orienteering Championships. Charlotte Ward bagged second-place as part of the four-person British team at the end of last month. The WOC rules state that competitors must avoid the host city for a minimum of two years before the event, which means Charlotte is now banned from Edinburgh, which hosts the competition in 2024. 91 Radio Derby’s Jack Tymon has been to Belper to meet her.
