‘I won’t let paralysis define me’

Not by the Playbook

Available for over a year

Jack Jablonski always dreamt of becoming a professional ice hockey player. In 2011, he was illegally checked during a hockey match, severing his spinal cord, and he's been paralysed from the chest down ever since. He now is the Los Angeles Kings Digital Content Coordinator, fulfilling his dream of working in the National Hockey League, and told Sportshour Caroline Barker how he overcame this life-changing injury.
