Steve Harris

Available for over a year

A Design and Technology teacher from Broadstone in Dorset has channeled his expertise into making protective face shields for front-line health staff. A shortage of personal protective equipment remains a major issue as the coronavirus pandemic continues to claim lives across the United Kingdom. PPE used by doctors treating contagious patients includes visors, gowns, gloves and masks with varying levels of protection. 400 care companies which provide home support across the UK have told the 91福利社 they still do not have enough PPE. Will Storey teaches at the Corfe Hills School in Broadstone. The 41 year old is planning to make over 200 visors for hospitals, care home workers and charities from his home base while supportive neighbours lend a helping hand on the assembly line.
