Son on father's lost ashes

Good Morning Ulster

Available for over a year

Aer Lingus has apologised for losing the ashes of a man from Northern Ireland, being brought home to be scattered by his son in Ballymena. The airline has now located Bob Gilmour's luggage and his father's remains were flown to Dublin overnight for delivery to the family - three hours ahead of a planned memorial service. His mother's ashes were also lost. They are to be scattered in England, where she was born. Karen Patterson spoke to Bob.
