Fair Isle’s Bird Observatory attracts large numbers of visitors every year, and although there are other places to stay, it provided the main accommodation for birders. 91¸£ÀûÉç Scotland's former Environment Correspondent Louise Batchelor was, until fairly recently, involved with the charitable trust who own it.
