Not by the Playbook

Available for over a year

Alhambra Nievas became the first female referee to take charge of a men's international rugby fixture. The Spaniard oversaw Finland's 15-8 win over Scandinavia rivals Norway. On October 28th, Joy Neville will become the second female to referee a men's international. Alhambra says more sports should follow the example of rugby and introduce several female referees at the same time, so they don't feel isolated.
