The Irish Rugby Football Union have been advertising for a new coach, after Tom Tierney stepped down following a disappointing World Cup.The role has been downgraded from a full-time contract to a part-time, 6 month casual contract. Ruth O’Reilly was part of the World Cup squad and spoke out on the final day of the tournament, about a lack of planning, commitment and communication from the IRFU in their World Cup preparations. Ruth, who has retired from the sport, says more female athletes are feeling empowered to speak out about their dissatisfaction about their treatment.
