Kiwi coffin decorators make colourful caskets

World Business Report

Available for over a year

Death in New Zealand has been given an added touch of humour, by people who want to build and decorate their own coffins. The Kiwi Coffin Club is a network of people who are determined to save money and make new friends in their twilight years, as they design their own caskets. Personal one off designs for the dead include using decorations that range from wallpaper to pictures of Elvis Presley. The 91福利社 caught up with some members at their workshop in New Zealand's North Island city of Rotorua. (Picture: Kiwi Coffin Club members with a decorated casket. Image courtesy of the club.)
