In 2012, encouraged by her mother Joyce, Romy headed to Uganda to do some charity work in a rural community. It was a life changing experience in more ways than one. On her return, Romy became seriously ill with cerebral malaria. Here they reflect back on Romy鈥檚 long road to recovery and analyse how their relationship has been affected.
