The newly-elected mayor of Pretoria, Solly Msimanga, has said no more luxury cars will be bought under his leadership. Mr Msimanga, of the Democratic Alliance, says a new fleet of vehicles inherited from his ANC predecessors will be given to a police anti-hijack unit. The mayor's spokesman, Matthew Gerstner, told Outside Source that the mayor will do away with his own car, in favour of something more 'ordinary'.
