Extremist prisoners will be put in special units in English and Welsh jails, the government has said. Chris Dean, who is a principal psychologist, was in charge of a team overseeing the intervention of extremist groups in prisons until June last year. He says there could be some benefits in the plans but there is a danger of extremist prisoners taking advantage of the idea. (Photo: A prison official locking a door. Credit: PA)
