The "horrible" conditions for women giving birth in the Syrian city of Aleppo has been described by one of the doctors working in a maternity hospital. Dr Farida Almouslem is among the Syrian doctors in the rebel-held east of Aleppo who have written to President Obama urging him to intervene, in the face of attacks by government forces.
