They discuss the shortlist for this year's Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year award. The list of six includes another of our Oxford Book Club members, Clare Mackintosh, for her debut novel I Let You Go. Catherine recommends All In Your Head by Suzanne O'Sullivan which won the Wellcome Book Prize for science writing. There are also reviews of Andrew Michael Hurley's gothic debut The Loney and Wallace Stegner's final novel, from 1987, Crossing To Safety.
