Corruption, whether paying a bribe or needing insider contacts to get things done, is something that has long been a problem in India. But the situation appears to be improving. Three years ago India was ranked only 94th in the Transparency International index, where first place is perceived as least corrupt. Last year it had moved up to 76th. So still a long way to go but there are suggestions that technology is helping India slowly clean up its act and its image, as Shilpa Kannan reports from Delhi. (Picture: Indian rupees being counted.
