Following the 'Miss Saigon affair' where Actors' Equity in New York barred Welsh actor Jonathan Pryce from reprising his London role on the grounds he was not Asian, Meridian explores the sensitive issue of race in theatre casting. With contributions from Anglo-Indian actress Meera Syal, Jamaican-born actress Yvonne Brewster, and artistic director of the Theatre Royal Stratford East, Phillip Hedley.
