George Mpanga, known by his stage name George the Poet, is a British spoken word artist of Ugandan descent. He has recently turned his sharp verse to the upcoming elections in Uganda. He told 91¸£ÀûÉç Africa’s Patience Atuhaire in the capital, Kampala, why he decided to write about the political life in his parents’ country.
