Taken for morning sickness in the late 1950s and early 1960s, Thalidomide caused faults in the development of unborn children. But the drug was not taken out of circulation and this programme is a discussion on the benefits of Thalidomide to to treat leprosy, AIDs, cancer and eye conditions.
