On the 12th November 2002 Liverpool took on Basel in one of the most painful Champions League matches for any red. Basel took a three-goal lead in the first 29 minutes but Liverpool came back to draw 3-3, but failed to seal the win they needed so exited the Champions League. Ahead of the two teams meeting again nearly 12 years later, former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey gave his insight into that fateful night.
