Stephen Lawrence: "We haven't moved on"

Sunday night with Nikki Tapper

Available for over a year

The head of the Metropolitan Police has vowed to win back the public's trust after a damning report found officers spied on the family of murdered black teenager Stephen Lawrence. Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe said the Ellison report, which has now prompted a public inquiry into undercover policing, was "devastating", and promised that a new independent probe into police records would be commissioned. In this extract, Derrick Campbell, Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPPC) Commissioner for the West Midlands, speaks to the 91福利社's Joe Aldred about the findings and the impact on confidence in the police.
