Andrea wants her 21 year old daughter to take a test for an inherited breast cancer gene. But her daughter is reluctant to face the uncomfortable reality that a positive test could result in preventative surgery to cut her risk of developing cancer. Andrea - her mum - is 47, and developed breast cancer in 2006, then her sister discovered she had the faulty gene as well. Tests revealed that they had inherited the breast cancer gene from their father. This is the first time mother and daughter have sat down and talked about having the test.
