Witchcraft: Nottingham social workers root out hidden abuse

Reya El-Salahi

Available for over a year

Work to root out the hidden horrors of child witchcraft has reached Nottingham, where social workers in Nottingham are meeting with African experts against the practice. Faith leaders, charities, police and social workers have all played key parts in the Government's action plan to tackle child abuse linked to religion, which was prompted by the murder of 15-year-old Kristy Bamu in December 2010. Justin Bahunga of Africa Unite Against Child Abuse (AFRUCA) tells 91福利社 Nottingham's Reya El-Salahi the difficulty of their work.
