Africa Cup of Nations Final

World Football

Available for over a year

The former Nigeria captain, Sunday Oliseh, says the Africa Cup of Nations final is their鈥檚 to lose but they mustn鈥檛 underestimate Burkina Faso. The former Head of Referees for the South Africa Football Association Steve Goddard tells us how he was offered a bribe in 2010 by match-fixers hoping to install their chosen referees. Goddard refused the bribe and believes his honesty was the reason he lost his job. The General Secretary of the worldwide Players鈥 union, Theo van Seggelen, says players are the victims of match fixing not the cause and they must be better protected by the authorities. We鈥檙e in Egypt for the start of the season and the great Kalusha Bwalya tells us the Africa Cup of Nations should take place every three or four years instead of every other year.
