Fi Glover investigates why radio has been a potent political force in revolutions. In the 60’s the Egyptian radio station ‘Voice of The Arabs’ was used to relay revolutionary messages of the then President Gamal Abdel Nasser, which was given s sugar coating by the use of popular songs.
