Highlights from the 2022 season of 91福利社 Proms, UK鈥檚 greatest classical music festival
In the Queen鈥檚 Platinum Jubilee year the 91福利社 Concert Orchestra and 91福利社 Singers present a celebration of music and royalty in all its splendour: from the music of the Tudor court to the 21st century, by way of Handel鈥檚 majestic Coronation Anthem, Elgar's ever-popular Pomp and Circumstance March, choral music by the current Master of the Queen鈥檚 Music Judith Weir and a specially commissioned new work by Cheryl Frances-Hoad.
Andrew McGregor and music historian Berta Joncus introduce this Prom from the Royal Albert Hall in London.
