Tanya and Drizilik

DJ Edu showcases rising talents from Burkina Faso and Sierra Leone.

Two up and coming African talents are under the TIA spotlight this week. Tanya is making waves and winning fans in Burkina Faso with songs like My Lover and Doudou. The latter spawned a dance challenge on TikTok: many young women loved the theme of taking revenge on a wayward boyfriend, and let off steam!

Drizilik is a singer-songwriter from Sierra Leone, who has been inspired by the tough times his country has gone through to make positive, uplifting and inspiring tunes.
