How the Nigerian team put women's football on the map in Africa in 1999.
In 1999, Nigeria鈥檚 women鈥檚 football team 鈥� the Superfalcons 鈥� went on a dazzling run at the Women鈥檚 World Cup in the United States. The Nigerians became the first African side to reach the quarter-final stage, before losing an epic game against Brazil. The Superfalcons鈥� performance is now regarded as putting the women鈥榮 game on the map in Africa. Emma Barnaby talks to former Nigerian goal-keeper, Judith Chime.
