The NHS is asking for views on plans that could see some high-risk births moved from Liverpool Women鈥檚 Hospital to the Royal Liverpool. The change would affect around 130 births a year and is being considered due to safety concerns around emergency care provision. Supporters say it would improve outcomes for complex pregnancies, while opponents warn it could put extra pressure on the Royal and risk losing specialist services at Liverpool Women鈥檚.
