Esther Ghey, mother of Brianna Ghey, on support of Cheshire school phone ban campaign.16-year-old Brianna Ghey was lured to a Cheshire park by two teenagers she knew from school and stabbed 28-times on 11 February 2023. Since then, Brianna's mum Esther has turned the pain of Brianna's loss into something positive. In September 2025 she launched a campaign to get phones banned from every high school in the country, and it's even been backed by Oscar winner Kate Winslett.
