Stratford's world champion powerlifter
In March 2024, 63 year old Martine Barons began training harder and focusing more on weights. 18 months later in September 2025, the 64 year old won her division and the best lifter award for the deadlift at the competition in the US.
This success at the World Championship comes just 12 weeks after defending her European Powerlifting title in Poland.
Martine joined 91福利社 CWR's Vic Minett to share her love for competing and where this love of weights began.
