Pride or prejudice?
St George's flags and Union Jack's have appeared across Merseyside.
Groups who have put up flags say they are motivated by pride and patriotism, others say it feels provocative at a time when tensions are running high over immigration.
In Liverpool, they've been removed with the council saying it's standard protocol and residents are free to fly flags from their own property or in their garden.
