It is taking more than a year to find properties for those most in need of housing in Guernsey according to the States.

Sheyenne Mahy and her partner are two of many who were utilising a winter home as a full-time residence due to a lack of affordable housing.

Sheyenne tells her story to reporter Charlie Le Noury.
