A touching tale of an evacuees wartime childhood in Lincolnshire, a story that was nearly lost.
Valerie was 88 when her son Miles had to make a decision to put her into a care home and sell her house.
He found a transcript of what he later understood to be a memoir of her childhood growing up in London and being evacuated to Lincolnshire during WW2.
Miles says that 鈥淔inding the manuscript was rather like opening up a time capsule to the past.鈥�
