The cast of Gavin and Stacey have just finished filming a new Christmas special to air this year, which is said to be the show’s final ever episode.

Alison Steadman, who plays Pamela in the much-loved sitcom, told Nuala McGovern about the emotional end to filming the show.

She revealed to Nuala that since reading the first script 17 years ago she knew it was something special, and that it would stick with her as one of her favourite roles.

Alison was on the programme speaking about her new memoir, Out of Character, where she looks back over a career spanning over 50 years.
