Bestselling author of the How to Train Your Dragon series, Cressida Cowell, has co-curated an exhibition in Oxford Story Museum. Here Be Dragons is open throughout July, with historical objects, stories, costumes, artwork and more to immerse visitors into the magical world of dragons.
These mythical creatures have been around in writing and art that dates back thousands of years and still capture the wonder of people today. Whether they are friends or foes, frightening or endearing, dragons continue to capture our imaginations.
Cressida Cowell has used her dragon expertise from her years of writing about them to help create an event for children in Oxford to experience the magic for themselves.
