Beloved Hereford bookstore to ‘rise from ashes’
The award-winning The Children's Bookshelf in Hereford have announced they will close their store on Gormond Street, but are determined to fly the flag for reading and writing.
Despite accolades and a dedicated following, owner Duncan Cooper told Malcolm Boyden why lack of footfall was to blame, amongst changing shopping habits, for the much-loved community centre.
